UPDATE 12/18/2020: As I said before, I couldn't speak to the durability until now. The padding on the mat appears to be lifting, presenting a CHOKING HAZARD! We've only dealt with this twice, so there's no reason this should be a problem. Occurs in several areas. We've just received this 11/3 playmat so can't comment on durability yet, but so far the quality is looking promising! I wanted a gray rug to match my daughter's room which is being renovated but is now used in our living room. Super easy to assemble and super stylish compared to traditional ones. I love it so far!
