Love this stool for our little boy who is not that little. He's not exactly 3 years old, but he's about 41 inches tall, which means he's about the size of a 5-year-old. This stool is perfect for the toilet and sink, higher stools are too high especially for the toilet. It stays where he puts it and seems solid enough that I can trust it myself. The small dots on the top are also rubberized and non-slip. The bad reviews notwithstanding, this is absolutely the perfect little step stool until you're sure this is the right height for your needs.
