Just installed this washer pump on my 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid. This is the correct part, went in without much effort and works! Note that Ford replaced the windshield washer reservoir and pump in 2008 with a single pump for front and rear. Pre-2008 escape instructions do not work. As of 2008, the pump is located between the reservoir and the front bumper, so you must remove the reservoir to access it. It is not enough to bend the wheel arch cover; I had to remove the front right wheel and remove the fountain cover to get to the reservoir and then loosen the two screws holding the reservoir. This loosened it enough that I could reach out and pull the pump out to swap it out. The electrical connection is held by a clamp (as usual) and PITA comes out! Also note that the rubber bushing that comes with the new pump is different from the bushing in the tank that the filter attaches to. I used the old one, no leaks yet. It took me about an hour, most of which I spent removing and removing the wheel and well cover. Someone more experienced with a jack will be much quicker!
