I was planning to use this unit on air conditioner grilles. But I've tried several other models and they fall or don't hold my iPhone X well. So I changed my mind and thought about trying this mount by sticking it on the car dashboard. My surprise was that it's also a holder with excellent clips for attaching car air vents, with a design that supports and doesn't fall off. In other words, he has both options. Attaching to the vents is great! It retracts quickly (no need to wait a second for it to open and then take out your phone).
