Excellent handheld microphone transceiver. I'm so glad to see that Shure decided to pair the SM86 with the GLXD receiver. The SM86 is a cardioid condenser microphone and is crisp and clear compared to the SM58. I was absolutely amazed at the detail of the singer's voice. For us, every new purchase of a GLXD Series wearable pair will look like this. It has a solid but plastic body so I can still use the SM58 for applications where I need high reliability.
