When I first got them I was thrilled that I finally had the ear tips that keep the AirPods Pro from falling out (because the silicone tips that come with them keep popping off). The foam tips were easy to put on and felt secure at first. However, after about 15 minutes of listening, I noticed that they started to slip off, as did the silicone tips. And yes, I followed the instructions exactly (squeeze the foam rubber together, use it with rotating movements) and tried it out several times. I also noticed a very pronounced mute in the audio quality. That's definitely due to the narrowing of the earphone canal with this cheap design, and not because Apple uses a flat mount for a more natural sound passage. Realizing these ear tips were inferior to my silicone pairs, I attempted to remove them. . Notice how I said TRYING. They're harder to remove with greasy fingers than a McDonald's toy from a box. The foam itself is neatly bonded to the plastic that attaches to the earcup, so it slides off too easily. You can only grab them with a fingernail, which leaves indelible marks and breaks down the foam. At first only the foam came off and there was a plastic tip with nothing to catch. I finally managed to pry it off by digging my fingernail into the top of the plastic very hard. These earplugs are a joke. Seriously, don't waste your time. Otherwise, you might end up back in the store trying to buy another pair of AirPods.
