This is the second pair of glasses of this brand and style that I have bought. These are the best glasses I have (and I have several pairs from other online shops in different price ranges). The curvature of a bifocal lens is up, not down. This provides a clearer image when viewed directly through the lens. It is far superior to flat-top bifocals. I bought a tortoise shell pair. They are durable and have spring-loaded temples that flex outwards when needed to ensure a very comfortable fit. They go from dark to light fairly slowly, but as long as they don't go incredibly dark, it's not a problem.
