We've been using this pad for just over three months and one side has stopped working. I called the warranty number and they said my warranty was void because I used a surge protector to plug it in. I was told the instructions said not to do this but the instructions said not to use an inverter or converter like in the RV or it would void the warranty. I was told that the power distribution boxes would tangle with the panel and cause the controllers and/or cables in the panel to malfunction, and the panel should be plugged directly into a wall outlet. The rep went ahead and replaced the pad and it was exceptionally nice and he wanted to make sure we were safe with the new one and asked that we only use one plug. We have purchased a second one for our guest room after the exceptional response we have received from the company.
