My mom loves this stuff!

I gave my mother one of these retro bluetooth phones as a gift because she hates that her Samsung phone doesn't always answer incoming calls (when you use the phone a pop-up appears and You just press the answer button, but when you're not using your phone it's full screen and you have to slide something in a certain direction to answer the call). She can simply press a button to answer the call and press the same button to hang up. Just. There's one little annoying quirk: when something like this is paired via Bluetooth, the default connection profile sends both phone tones and notification tones to this retro phone, which isn't ideal as you can't hear the notifications you want. hear through the handset when you are not using it. Therefore, you can of course switch off the notification sound in the Bluetooth profile so that these sounds continue to come from the mobile phone itself. However, this creates a new problem where the retro handset, once connected to a cellphone via Bluetooth, will still display an alternating red/blue light, very similar to the sequence you see when the phone is disconnected and tries to connect. combine with everything. You are connected and the retro handset works, but the flashing only stops after the call is answered and ended. So I just suggested to my mom to ditch the retro phone button and ignore the light. It would be nice if this behavior was developed outside of the device, or if it were designed to never tell the paired device that it's getting notification sounds at all.
