Fleece fabric is incredibly soft and stretchy

The stitching on the edges started to unravel after one use. Of course, my dog rubs against the couch and walls while wearing the sweater, which has exposed him to extra wear and tear. This is a great length that covers his crown and hips. Very soft and very comfortable thermal layer. Love the size of the leg and head holes - the stretch at the seams doesn't compress or pinch my dog like I've had other knit sweaters.
