EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY - PERFECT FOR INSTALLING A 7.1 DIGITAL SURROUNDER SYSTEM

flimsy speaker cable annoying when I'm in digital 4K? The first thing you'll notice is how heavy the box is when it arrives. This is great quality, ridiculously thick, 35-strand, ALL copper wire! Replaced my old (probably 18 gauge copper plated) cables in my 7.1 surround system and can definitely tell a difference, especially with newer 4K AV receivers (I like Yamaha) with Dolby Atmos/THX/etc. digital sound. Installation: The insulation is very thick, so I had to cut the insulation in a couple of places, run the (also thick) wire through my rubber rails on the floor (my problem, not media bridges). Note that I can't complain about the exceptional quality/thickness of the wire or insulation and this wire is perfect for running through walls (I don't need it). Used this cable with Mediabridge's gold plated banana plugs, now it's a lot easier to plug it into the back of the amp! Glad I have a 200ft spindle as 100 would not be enough for a 7 speaker surround system (must use 25-30ft for 4 surround speakers (side/back), 10-12ft for each front speaker, 5-6 feet for the center speakers, leaving me a good 60 feet left for future projects. Considering my living room isn't too big, therefore, in a large house, the entire spindle could be used. Does size matter? A 16 gauge cable would probably be fine, but for a few bucks more for a 14 gauge cable, why not get the right deal. and I'm glad I did! It took about 3 hours to run the wires for all 7 speakers, but I have lots of wires on the walls and floor to keep things clean. . All of the speakers are actually louder and clearer now, which tells me these wires have significantly lower resistance and better conductivity than my previous wires. to run cables for all 7 speakers, but I have a lot of cables on the walls and floor for cleanliness. .
