Review on XHD®TECSUN Receiver Broadcast Built Speaker by Patrick Freddie

I bought this radio after reading a very good review about it on Todderbert. I have relied on Todderbert's reviews for many of my previous radio purchasing decisions. Other Tecsun radios I've bought have worked perfectly so this radio might just be an anomaly but its FM reception is very poor. I tried unsuccessfully to tune into a semi-local college station - about 25 miles away - that plays classical music (on 88.5). Despite my considerable efforts, including replacing the Enloop batteries with the new Energizer Ultimate Lithium, I could not hear this station or any other stations. which each of my radios receives loud and clear. Although I couldn't get a clear signal on this P-909 last night at 88.5 I sat in the same spot but I was able to get a clear signal from this station with very clear sound on the Retekess V117, Eton Elite Mini and Tecsun Q3 , neither of which are marked as powerful FM. To my regret this radio is going back to Revain.
