One of my cats is a bit overweight and has had digestive issues in the past even though he eats quality food (dry and wet) and gets plenty of clean water. When he'd defecate in the cat box, it would sometimes be extremely soft if not runny and then he'd jump out and make a mess on the floor as he left. They also had a very strong odor that filled the room quickly. I started giving this to him about 4 months ago and just mixed it in with his wet food in the evening. After 5-6 days, his bowel movements were just soft but well formed. After 8 days they were solid. After 10-12 days the odor became less formidable. After a month his bowel movements smell no worse than my other cats. I attribute this excellent improvement to this product.I'd give it 5 stars, but in the most recent shipments I've received the measuring spoon included previously is no longer present. So I've just saved the spoon for re-use, but it may be an issue of quality control. I called the phone number on the product but it just goes to a voicemail.
