For clarification I don't do signage but I have some experience with graphic transfers having had many vans and have put various types of vinyl on those vans over the years (including standard vinyl, reflective engineering vinyl and even metal coated prismatic vinyl). I have a couple of plotters, a 32" US cutter and a 54" cutter, but I only use them for personal use. I have tried this high tack glue several times. The vinyl stays on the tape. Hence the high tack part. This means the vinyl does not want to be transferred. PERIOD. I fought this stuff religiously. Too bad I didn't buy the standard or even low tack. I wasted a lot of money and now I have a very sticky transfer roller that won't let go of my graphics even after I fucking scratch them. I'm sure this tactic has an application that I lack. Everything has a purpose. It's just not what I was hoping for.
