It Smells Good – Cats

They've been eating canned Nature's Logic food for a little over a month. I used to feed them dry food for free (which I no longer buy - see below for why). Now I feed her three times a day. This schedule and the food noticeably increased her energy. They are 14 and 13.5 years old and often run and play together. This is the best cat food I can afford. It's definitely worth the price! ***Review Review*** 08/25/2013 My two cats love this rabbit food. I would recommend it to many brands. One reason is that Nature's Logic products do not contain "wheat, corn, rice, soy, potatoes, or chemically synthesized vitamins, minerals, or trace elements." This was taken directly from their website. Another reason is that none of the ingredients are sourced from China and are GMO (genetically modified organism) tested. Read the statements under [.] and [.] for yourself. There are many brands that reduce production costs at the expense of your animal's health. Especially Purina. Every Purina One Smart Blend canned food (for cats) listed on their website contains ingredients that I would not feed myself or my cats. Some of these ingredients are: artificial flavors; modified cornstarch (probably genetically engineered); and/or corn oil (probably GM); Menadione (synthetic vitamin K3). Here is a link to the safety data sheet for menadione: [.] Here is a link to information about GMOs: [.] Many experts seem to disagree on whether cats should only eat dry food or only canned food or a combination of the two. Of course, grain is better than nothing at all, but I think it makes more sense to feed the cat food that matches what it is hunting (rabbits, mice, birds, squirrels, etc.). Obviously, these prey items are not naturally dehydrated food. So why feed cats a low-moisture diet? Here is a link to information about proper cat nutrition: [.] Also see [.]. Finally, I would investigate these issues on my own. . I wish it was a long time ago. You will most likely find conflicting articles. Use your head and decide what you believe in.
