Awesome Headphones - Over-Ear Headphones

I really like these headphones. Bought for games and music. The picture and sound stage are amazing. In CSGO, you can hear footsteps anywhere on the map. The bass is also very good for an open back. They sound better with an amp, but you can control them without one, although they're not too loud. I use JDS Lab Atom and it manages these headphones perfectly. Tried Pro and Premium. The only difference to Pro and Premium is the clip. Bracket minimum on premium. The pros have a lot of clips, which I really like because they don't fall off my head. It's worth noting that the gray ear pads are very different from the black ones. I have big ears and black ear pads fit better. The grays are much softer, but they taper off to the point of crushing my ears. The black ear pads are more durable, but completely enclose the ear and are more similar to in-ear headphones. black pads on Pro and Premium are the same. If you are sensitive to clips, choose premium headphones, if you have big ears, choose black ear pads. The sound signature is the same for both. Another thing to note is that the twisted pair cable is quite heavy so it will feel a little heavier when worn on the left, but the straight cable is uncomfortably long. I don't mind high frequencies, but I understand why people say it's tiring. These are really fun headphones. Due to the clamp it will replace my shp9500 for gaming.

Pros
  • Open, over-ear headphones for professional mixing, mastering, editing and listening at home or in the studio
Cons
  • Disgusts me
