These flower cups are cute but quite large. I'm just starting to make earrings and I think all my beads are 8mm or smaller because they get lost in these things. The cup's wings go almost halfway down the sides of the bead, so if you use one for the top and the other for the bottom, they will almost completely cover the bead. They are beautiful and the petals can be pulled apart to accommodate larger beads. I won't be using them much due to sizing issues, but I see someone using larger beads for a necklace and enjoying the classy look they can give.
