I've been a big fan of mountain hardwear for decades. They supplied my expedition with down jackets and tents and have since won me over with their quality. I still have my G4 Challenge Mountain Hardwear tent, it's over 15 years old and still like new - the same goes for the coat, although it may soon be time to retire it. These gloves should be ordered a size up if you intend to use them in extremely cold weather so you can add another liner - they are relatively thin and appear to be designed for mid-temperatures as well as layering. I got them in my actual size for use when snow clearing open cab UTVs where I need the dexterity of a thinner glove that still remains waterproof yet breathable. Since they were tested in the summer and the temp is currently 36 degrees I can't say for sure how warm they are for such a relatively thin design, but I can say they are comfortable and I can't find any threads lying around or bad stitches - they are very well made as expected. So at least consider whether you plan to use them for layering, and if so, scale them up a bit.
