20 " cable does not support 4K@60Hz

The 20 inch cable is not suitable for 4K HDR at 60 Hz. Connected between PC with EVGA GeForce GTX 970 SC GAMING ACX 2.0 graphics card with HDMI 2.0 port and HDMI port #2 of Samsung UE510 LED 4K display (only port #2 supports 60Hz 4K) and NVIDIA video driver settings panel refused to allow the above refresh rate 30Hz . I replaced the Bugubird cable with the 10ft cable I had and the driver allowed 60Hz (monitor limit). Samsung UN65MU7000 4K HDR TV and the laptop display started turning on and off when the laptop tried to connect to the TV and the TV reported that it could not work with the connected device. All connections on the TV have been set to enable HDMI UHD Color on all three HDMI ports. I replaced the Bugubird cable again with a 10ft HDMI cable (different this time) and the problem was gone. I can't confirm that the HDMI port on this laptop is HDMI 2.0 like the GTX 970, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't. At least I can say that this cable supports 4K at 60Hz with nothing from Samsung. .

Pros
  • Bugubird, High quality 28 AWG multi-shielded HDMI cable with male-to-male connectors, 24k gold plated connector and high-purity oxygen-free copper conductor Can effectively reduce interference and signal attenuation impede. Heavy duty cable is not easy to break.
Cons
  • Almost OK
