First of all, this is not a TREATMENT for a prolapse / plantar fasciitis, but a help. Still, I'm so happy I decided to try these socks. As I started running a lot and at the same time very long distances, the arches of my feet started to hurt and whether it was a fall arch or plantar fasciitis I needed a remedy for the pain. I started putting my socks on and off indiscriminately and quickly noticed that my feet barely hurt when I put them on, and when I wasn't wearing them the pain returned immediately. As for size, I usually wear shoes. Size 10 (regular fit) so I ordered L/XL according to the size chart and it fits perfectly. They offer good compression but are not too tight so I have no problem wearing them all the time and since I noticed the difference in comfort/pain with and without socks I have worn them 24/7. Haven't ridden them long distances yet, plan to do one in a few days so I can update my review. I've done a few shorter walks though and the socks really seem to help, so we'll see how the longer walks work out. In short, yes I recommend these socks if you are looking for relief. As said, they are not a solution to treat this, but they certainly help with pain. I'll probably buy a few more pairs, although these seem to be very durable, I've been wearing them 24/7 for a few weeks now and haven't seen any wear so far.
