This is a very protective case that fits well. This is for a 10.2 inch iPad 2 and I accidentally ordered it for my iPad Air (didn't know it was a 10.5 inch screen). But the external dimensions are the same and it fits perfectly. Part of my screen is under the edges of the case, but for a 10.2 inch screen it would fit perfectly. The buttons are easy to press through the case. notably the ability to view and edit the iPad in portrait or landscape mode - a feature not always found in other cases - it's a little heavier than thin cases, but that's the price of good protection. One feature I miss and would like to see is a cover for the front screen as I feel like the screen is unprotected and if the iPad is placed on its back there is a risk of the screen falling it will be damaged. If it had a front cover I would love it.
