Review on Logitech G305 Lightspeed: The Ultimate Wireless Gaming Mouse by Kitti Sak ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

I wanted to find a wireless mouse that I could use with my laptop. There have been various previous mice produced by LOGITECH prior to the release of this model, including the Logitech G Gaming Mouse G300s (wired) and the Logitech G G102 Prodigy Black (wired). This particular mouse is the ancestor of the Logitech G G305 LIGHTSPEED model that is now available. The pricing was right, it was comfy, and it had a decent sensor, so I went with that. Yet, the overall feel of using the G102 model, which is one that I enjoy as well, was ultimately more aligned with the 305th. I purchased it with the intention of using it as a universal mouse; in addition to gaming, I work in 3D engineering software (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor). About the games, everything is laid out well. But, I did not anticipate that the precision with which the mouse could be positioned in 3D software would be an essential consideration for me. It is so much easier to go after the common mouse! A short while ago, the USB transmitter failed. It had a tiny bend to it, possibly from being carried in a bag (when it was inserted into the laptop). After I use this mouse, I won't be able to find another that is as convenient (in the same price category). Went through a lot of mice, and that is not the problem. There is a possibility that someone from the LOGITECH support team will read my review. I would like to ask you if you could please inform me where I can purchase a USB transmitter for this mouse. Please accept my thanks in advance!

Pros
  • Nimble sensor. User friendliness. Fits nicely in the palm of the hand.
Cons
  • Everything is to my liking. Didn't detect double clicks, so I guess I don't use that feature very often.
