I switched to this monitor from another LG model by replacing my old LG 144Hz with this 240Hz. The initial jump from 60Hz to 144Hz (back in 2015) startled me, but this jump from 144Hz to 240Hz is a bit more subtle. If you play first-person shooters, this monitor is ideal if you can reach FPS over 144. For example, I compare the higher refresh rate to the 'Bullet Time' from the Max Payne series - the more Hz, the 'slower' the time seems, and the more accurate you can hit on fast movements. Enable Adaptive-Sync if you have an NVIDIA or AMD equivalent Gsync card. *** BUT WARNING *** DO NOT adjust the RESPONSE TIME setting on this monitor. FAST (default) is the best, and setting it to FASTER will make your game run/look like garbage.
