Review on Nilight 18017C-A 32Inch LED Light Bar: 378W Triple Row, 37800LM, Flood Spot Combo Driving Lights for Trucks Jeep UTV ATV Boat - Super Bright, Off Road - 2 Yr Warranty by Derick Carpenter

Bright. Beautiful design and finish. Consumes only 133 watts.

UPDATE (MAR 4 19): I have all the mounting and electrical hardware for mounting behind the bars of the 4Runner so it's installed now. It's a pretty nice spot, but it has its limitations, such as the grille that reduces some of the light output. But still, it's pretty damn bright for a hidden 32-inch screen. It creates something like a circular pattern, brightest in the center and expanding. There is a beam angle that also increases the beam width as you move away from the vehicle. I tested it on a garage door to show the radiation pattern, but didn't go off-road in a really dark place for a real test. I have attached some photos. One is just the lightbar, another is just the headlights, and the third is both [it should be obvious which is which if the labels aren't visible]. I set the camera so the image wasn't just overexposed by the light bar and then I took all the shots at the same settings so there's a real comparison. Don't let this confuse you into thinking my headlights are dim or the light bar isn't that bright. Both are very bright, but due to camera dynamic range limitations, the only way to properly show the differences is to turn off the amount of light passing through the lens. I hope it helps. As long as I like it Nice design and finish, looks great and the brackets and screws are solid. The brackets and lanterns appear weatherproof with a beautiful black finish. No instructions or specifications were included. I tested it on a workbench and made sure it works; and i will update when i use it. I also measured the current it draws and it doesn't draw 378W, it draws 133W based on a 13.6V power supply and measured 9.8A). That doesn't mean it's less bright (watts ≠ illuminance). This means it uses less power than advertised, which is a good thing. This means you may not run out and need to buy a larger generator to handle the extra load. , etc). If you are doing a long run (more than 12 feet) consider increasing the wire diameter (lower wire gauge) to avoid voltage drops. Hope that helps.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some minor issues
