I don't know anything about whitening, I didn't see any significant difference between the results of this brush and the results of my previous one. What can I say, the brush is good. The teeth are clean, the brush works well. It also comes with 4 tips so 2-3 months for each tip, that's around 8-12 months before you even have to look for a replacement. By then you will have paid your money back even if you cannot find a replacement. Comes with a handy travel bag and charging cable. It doesn't come with a charger, which disappointed me. I don't travel much (if I did I wouldn't mind charging from my laptop). As it stands, I don't like the idea of taking my toothbrush to the common room, office, or living room to charge. So I needed a charging block for charging in the bathroom. Overall this brush is pretty good value for money and I'd say it's a good choice if you're traveling.
