Not more absorbent than standard towel, but definitely more comfortable

I'm not sure why I just started using these. They are so much more comfortable than having a full sized bath towel around your head; much easier on the neck too and no headache from trying to hold my head up.However, I dont find them to be any more absorbent than a standard bath towel and my hair does not dry any quicker (I have very short, chin length hair).I will definitely continue to use them though, based solely on comfort.
