Review on 🌬️ Rowenta Pure Connect Air Purifier: Efficient Medium-Sized White Device by Amy Miller

I decided to put this air purifier in the main room at work to get some fresh air there as I probably spend as much time there as I do at home! We have a lot of dust in the room, as well as diesel fumes from the garage, so clearly this unit was in for a serious test. I downloaded the app to my phone and simply connected the device to the Wi-Fi network following the instructions that came with it. As expected, when I first turned it on, the app detected heavy air pollution, but within 30 minutes this little device cleared the air significantly. The room even smelled better and fresher. I also noticed that the furniture doesn't collect dust. The device is so quiet that sometimes I even forget that it is switched on. It's great at cleaning the air and isn't too loud to be a nuisance like some of the other devices I've used. I love that it has multiple filters including a formaldehyde filter. Strange - I've never heard of Rowenta - but apparently they are a well-known company for clothes steamers, laundry care products and fans/air purifiers. I only have two small remarks about the device: Firstly, although the device has 5 speeds in automatic mode, there is no manual switching between them. Sometimes I like the "white noise" in the background, especially when I'm trying to concentrate or when I'm sleeping. You have to turn on the turbo option which takes it to speed 5 to remove the noise from the device. I hate to complain about it being too quiet but yes sometimes it is! I want to be able to manually set it to one of the levels. Second, the app is less than stellar. Although the application works, it is incomplete. There are some areas where you press "i" for more information and get to a page that just says "no content". It's like they are still working on completing the app. I love that it provides outside air information for the area and that you can control the unit remotely (just be careful not to startle anyone if it turns off or turns on by itself if they don't notice)! The app also tracks the filters and tells you when to clean or change them. However, the link to buy the filter online only takes you to a website that lists the Hepa filters, not the filters that actually come with the unit. . However, if you go to Rowenta's website and click on a product, all the filters are available there and are not too expensive. Overall, this is a great air purifier at a reasonable price. My only complaint is actually with the app and if they fully completed the app it would be a five star product.
