If you use your Chromebook a lot as a laptop rather than a tablet, this will work, but in tablet mode, no matter how well installed, it strains the hinges and forces slightly open to sit. So when it's sitting on your lap, the screen will bounce a bit as it pushes against the added plastic. I chose to sand down the contact points, but it looks like there's a lot less plastic protecting the laptop. I chose to keep it for travel when I need to use laptop mode often, but in tablet mode when I'm sitting in bed it twitches. If I had read the reviews I probably would have been overlooked.
