Much better than incandescent lamps

Replaced LED bulbs with these. Pretty much the same as far as I can tell. However, it is enough for the ceiling to make the draft that I felt with normal light bulbs go away. No idea about real energy saving, but comfort is better. An asterisk is omitted because the locking method seems more cumbersome than the spring.

Pros

DURABILITY: These Philips LED downlights last 13 times longer than incandescent and halogen lamps. Each lamp is expected to last up to 35,000 hours (based on three hours per day), saving you the cost of frequent lamp replacements.
