Too big for spool holder
I bought this for the Singer 4000 series as advertised. This was to replace the original part that was cracked and too loose. This piece was even weaker than my broken piece. It doesn't grip or hold the reel at all. It was a waste of money. That will be a waste of time if I have to return it and try to find something that actually works.
