This device is cheaper than many other oil drain devices. He has a nice big funnel. On most cars that I change the oil on, the funnel is large enough to catch oil from the sump drain and when the oil filter comes loose. One thing I would recommend with any oil drain is a gasket to prevent splattering. The seal prevents hot oil from splashing out of the funnel. Unit holds 8 gallons. However, when full, it weighs around 68 pounds. I have a used oil firebox so I drain the drain after 2-3 oil changes.
