Review on Glock Field Knife Fixed Battlefield by Samiran Pusarla

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good value for money for a robust knife with sheath

The Glock knife is surprisingly durable. The blade is not that deep, but relatively thick. Although the shaft doesn't go all the way through the grip, it still feels very solid. You can buy more powerful and stronger knives, but you will pay twice as much or more. The knife was damn sharp. I tweaked it with an ultra fine diamond sharpener but it turned out to be much sharper than many knives that come from the factory. I really can't believe the quality of the knife for the low price. The back of the saw actually looks functional and not just "survival bling". The teeth are beveled and sharp, making them better at sawing through wood than repeatedly cutting with the blade. The plastic sheath has a small, sturdy clip that hangs over the metal forearm to hold it securely and not rattle. Push it out of the handle to release it. When you urgently need to dig into the ground, this knife is perfect for breaking through hard clay, sawing through roots and thick enough not to bend. This is not a hunting knife - buy a good, inexpensive buck knife for hunting. This is a durable camping/survival knife that you can pop in your camping or truck tool box without worrying about abuse. I usually cringe at the thought of stabbing with the back of a knife to pierce wood like some bushcraft enthusiasts love to do. In the case of the Glock knife, I think it will hold up and split wood quite well and I wouldn't mind beating it. It looks like it will challenge you to try and beat him!
