I'm new to running (about 5 months) and it took me 10 pairs of running shoes to feel comfortable. Yes, I probably should have done a professional fit and saved a few hundred bucks, but I didn't, and here they are. I have almost every brand from Aleader ($20 and a really good sneaker) and Asics ($160 etc) and these are by far my favorites. I wanted an ultra-lightweight shoe with good arch support and overall cushioning that wouldn't "burn my toes." I don't know if there's a technical term for it or not, and I don't know if it's because I have ridiculously long toes, but in almost every shoe I own, my toes feel like they're on fire . It's NO and I'm very happy to finally find shoes that help me make progress in running. They are very light on my feet and support me just right. I love color too! Now I need to buy these exact shoes when all the colors are in my size so I know I will have them for a long time.
