Jack in the Box in Marionettes and Puppet Theaters

In the 80's every wealthy kid had a Jack in the Box. One day I was surprised when I heard my daughter recite the words of a song with the words "Jack" and "Box". I thought my kid needed something like this. I chose the pigeon on the bus because my daughter knows about the pigeon book collection. She loves a present. I will say that the mechanics of the box are not as reliable as the box I grew up with. It works like a bicycle. Flip the handle to securely lock the box. Just closing will not be enough. I was willing to send it back until I figured out how it works. The dove that pops out has a soft touch and will not hurt your baby when it pops out. The music at times (sometimes it plays, sometimes it doesn't; sometimes it plays long, sometimes it plays short) is far from surprising I guess not knowing when the dove will show up. The price of this toy should be about 10 times cheaper in my opinion.
