I am very happy with the bumpers! The photos show what the bumpers looked like immediately after opening and after 48 hours. As noted in the instructions, after opening the bumpers the first night we were able to use them until the zips closed. After 48 hours the bumpers were fully open and I was able to zip up. I love the overall quality and fabric! After reading many reviews from other brands, I'm glad we spent a little more money on this set. My child is 2 1/2 years old and now sleeps in a double bed as shown in the picture.
