Review on Dose for Excel by Ryan Bennett
DOSE FOR EXCEL: not very expensive - but you do get what you pay for!
I like that it is not very expensive, but you do get what you pay for in this program as far as functionality goes. The interface could be improved upon (it's rather clunky). There are other programs out there which provide similar services without all of these bells & whistles - so if price isn't an issue to you then look elsewhere! We run our monthly financial report through DOSE FOR EXCEL every month before we submit them to management. This allows us to have everything laid-out neatly with no confusion about where things go once they're submitted.
Pros
- nothing more or less than any basic excel spreadsheet should handle; plus its easy enough/user friendly even when working remotely via VPN connection from home while away at work meetings etc.)
Cons
- although some aspects suchas formatting options may seem limited comparedto full blown accounting software
