I eventually figured out that you *first* need to attach (attach) it to the case you want, then thread the other end through the label slot and pull the loop over the label. A simple little piece of paper describing this would be great! It can be removed conversely if you need to change your contact information. But the attachment loops are not large enough to wrap attachment points other than the SMALLEST attachment points on the chassis. A "D" ring or zipper pull is ideal. The suitcase handle is too big! (Straps may be required to attach to larger items, such as a thick handle (usually for suitcases or heavy suitcases).
