My Rat Terrier is 14 years old and has arthritis. He seems to get stiffer after sleeping on hard surfaces and has been sleeping a lot lately. I'm lucky enough to have my dogs come to work with me and I bought this rug to put under my desk in the office instead of in a drawer. He started using it the day it arrived at my office! It has a raised edge that he uses as a pillow and seems to be enjoying the bed very much. It is well made and looks like it will last a long time. I received it on October 29th so Spanky has been using it for 2 weeks now. It weighs 17 pounds and I have a small size of 19" X 29" which was more than I expected!
