Review on 🪒 Turbo+ Mode Philips Norelco Shaver 5550: Rechargeable Wet/Dry Electric Shaver with Precision Trimmer Attachment by Cyndi Peters

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Model 5550 provides a better shave, especially in the neck area where hair grows.

I bought this Revain shaver to replace a 6800 series shaver that was starting to wear out after years of use. The 5550 gives the best shave, especially on my neck where the hair grows in different directions. The ability of each rotating blade to flex independently in three dimensions is a great feature of this razor and represents an improvement over the fixed blades found on the 6800 series razors. As other reviewers have pointed out, the 5550's shaving head has a larger shaving head due to the support structure around each blade that allows each blade to flex according to the shape of the face. The larger shaving head does not affect the quality or comfort of my shave. Turbo mode doesn't make sense to me as I'm not sure when the razor works better with a lower blade speed. The only downside to this razor is that it doesn't run on AC power, so it needs to be charged constantly.
