It was pretty easy to put together if you've ever assembled anything that uses camlocks and dowels (my only advice is make sure you all Insert camlock screws into the front to prep it before installing the center shelf, or the shelf will need to be held in place while you prep the front (don't wait for instructions telling me when to install the hardware to install). They provide glue for the dowels to help with stability. Once assembled it is a very stable table. We needed something narrow so we could easily walk around the living room furniture and this was perfect for our needs. It is big enough to put a drink and a plate on (although I'd definitely recommend getting moisture and heat protection v use as these are things that don't hold up well to such things) and the drawer helps keep the TV and cable remotes in where they should be. The color isn't espresso but more of a cherry so keep that in mind if you're looking for a darker piece.
