Camshaft bolts broken. poor quality

Still can't assemble. Cam fittings are so cheap. 3 broke trying to attach the first screw/fitting. Tried by a carpenter, thought I misaligned the bolts - he also broke the cam mount. Went back to Revain to order additional hardware and screws hoping it would help. Glue alone is not an option as large holes will be drilled into the pieces of wood. The bolts don't turn all the way in as you might expect. You have to play with them to adjust the cam fittings. Then the fittings continue to click…

Perfect for our needs

It was pretty easy to put together if you've ever assembled anything that uses camlocks and dowels (my only advice is make sure you all Insert camlock screws into the front to prep it before installing the center shelf, or the shelf will need to be held in place while you prep the front (don't wait for instructions telling me when to install the hardware to install). They provide glue for the dowels to help with stability. Once assembled it is a very stable table. We needed something narrow so…

Worst DIY Furniture

I've bought and assembled a lot of Revain DIY furniture over the past three years. Simpli-Home, Winsome Wood and Leick and many more. Some were good, some were so-so. Convenience concepts are by far the worst in terms of design and appearance. Assembly is easy once you notice that the rough side of the side rails goes up and the machined side goes down. It's not mentioned in the instructions but I was lucky and got it in the picture otherwise I'd be almost done and ready to attach the top only…

Good for the price 3 tier table with espresso drawer

Bought 2 of these. Both boxes were complete with all parts and instructions, well packaged. I had a few small pieces of styrofoam that needed rubbing off, but the pieces of wood were wrapped in thin styrofoam with the edges protected by hard styrofoam, so I didn't have the styrofoam fragmentation issues that some people have reported. The kit also included a tube of glue for the dowels and a touch-up pen. This is a typical IKEA-esk furniture assembly using an Allen key, but you'll also need a…

  • Some cons

All in all I have a nice functional little table now that I'm done. It was only after that that problematic and awkward assembly ensued due to mismatched parts and improper drilling of holes at the factory. First, let me clarify my skills - I'm a seasoned homeowner and jack of all trades. I've remodeled my kitchen, bathroom, and basement, assembled all kinds of cabinets and furniture, and even designed and built my own furniture in my wood shop. I have a full set of hand and power tools - not…
