Very light. Dress up and don't have to tie up. The problem is that the band holding the elastic cord broke after the first day. Otherwise they seem to be ok. Just don't pull too hard to tighten it. I also don't like the metal bells on the ends of the laces (can be removed). It remains to be seen how well the pants will hold up (feels soft and only wears out after a few uses). Maybe more suitable for girls than boys.
