The NESPi 4 case looks great and I love the SSD cartridge holder. Good idea and almost perfect implementation. However, I ran into a problem when trying to use my trusty Logitech F710 gamepad. This is my favorite RetroPi wireless controller and it works great when its receiver is connected directly to the Pi. I've used it for years with different cases and different RaspberryPis and even used it successfully with the same Pi I tried to use in a NESPi 4 when I tested it with the Zebra Layered Acrylic Case. The problem with the NESPi 4 case is due to a small USB extension cable or other radio interference generated by the case. Regardless, my range drops to about two feet when using it with the Pi in a NESPi 4 case, and in other cases where I can plug the controller receiver directly into the Pi, my range is over 10 feet . Receiver directly in the Pi, in the housing of the NESPi 4, but that would mean that one of the external USB ports would be lost (with a dead port my OCD competes against) and I wouldn't be able to use the controller with other devices as easily, as I would have done disassembling the NESPi 4 to get the receiver. I am currently using a wired controller which adds a retro touch but detracts from the user experience and practicality.
