Safe shutdown/reset script not working in recent versions of Lakka

The big problem I see so far is that the safe shutdown and restart scripts for Lakka OS are not working. One has to wonder how long they've known about it and haven't done anything about it. Second, there are cheap plastic threads on the case for the screws to go into, and from the look and feel they are not designed to be screwed in and out after a few turns as they will break and become cross-threaded. Another thing is that the case is not fully sealed like in the picture, I really don't want

Nearly perfect. Problem with wireless controller

The NESPi 4 case looks great and I love the SSD cartridge holder. Good idea and almost perfect implementation. However, I ran into a problem when trying to use my trusty Logitech F710 gamepad. This is my favorite RetroPi wireless controller and it works great when its receiver is connected directly to the Pi. I've used it for years with different cases and different RaspberryPis and even used it successfully with the same Pi I tried to use in a NESPi 4 when I tested it with the Zebra Layered…

1 glaring error makes it useless

I've been struggling with this for months now. I'm not a techie either. I run several Raspberry Pi servers for home automation, networking and audio streaming. I've also built a few hobby computers and have a server closet full of repurposed consumer computer hardware and enterprise servers so I have the skills to sort things out and the willingness to tinker since it's my hobby. Well-made case for Retropi with SSD

The case is well made, solid and everything fits together well (Pi 4). I had a retropi with an SSD in a base case that caused the SSD to "loosen up". In this case everything is well packed and the SSD can be replaced without disassembling everything. The price is good if you think you want to include an SSD (HD) controller, power supply, etc. I had some issues and hope this helps others deal with it faster.
