Review on BIBURY Multitool Accessories Christmas Multi Tool by Rusty Heredia

This review is for the 13-in-1 model, but I'll compare it a little with the 16-in-1 model. I'm a bit new to this type of multi-tool, having grown up with vintage Swiss Army knives. Considering the price, I bought 2 of these to throw in my camping and gear boxes, and 3 of the 16-1's as EDCs and to throw in cars. This 13-in-1 multi-tool is big and heavy. I have big hands so it's not a big issue, but if you have small hands it's worth bearing in mind. Model 16 is much lighter. There is no clip on either the tool or the pouch, but the pouch has a belt loop which means you have to unbuckle part of the belt to attach the pouch. If you don't have a belt, bad luck. QC seems inconsistent, the second one I got was a lot harder to open and the blade latch didn't work most of the time. I managed to remove the blade and sharpen it a bit with a whetstone. The tools are now much easier to open and the main blade lock is very secure. Although I really like the size of the blade. I seem to be able to sharpen it with a stone when needed and it seems to be holding its edge. The wood saw seems to cut well, I've only tried it once and have no complaints. Getting some of the tools is still a bit tricky, it gets easier if you open the pliers so the rear springs don't push against each other. My biggest problem is the can opener. With the 16-in-1 model, I opened the can with no problem, but with the 13-in-1 it was just impossible. The handle is too big and the opener is unable to grip the jar to apply enough force to cut the lid. If the opener were right on the edge of the multi-tool it should work, but where it is the large handle gets in the way. Just be aware that this will not work if you plan to open banks. I am currently using the 16 in 1 model as my EDC as it is much lighter, all the tools work as they should and it has clips on it and on the pocket. I tried swapping the pockets, but the 13-in-1 pocket doesn't fit the 16-in-1 pocket. I'll try to update my review in a few months after I have a chance to take a closer look.
