Great amp! suitable for home audio

My way to Nova300 was a detour. I stumbled upon Peachtree after inheriting my father's old 1976 JBL L-100 speakers (pictured) and was intrigued by all the positive reviews. I wanted to buy an amplifier that would get the best out of the speakers, but I didn't want to spend more than $2,000 on it to begin with. In contrast, I originally bought a Peachtree SKY-125 for about $1,000, but replaced it with a Nova150 when the SKY-125 had a problem with its radio module (Peachtree was great with it and gave me a generous loan). About a year later, Peachtree announced a trade-in for the Nova300, and (to my husband's dismay) I jumped at the opportunity. somewhat audiophile. The 150 had amazing clarity - by far the best amp I've ever heard - but the 300 paired with those venerable L100s takes it to the next level. Whether you're operating at high decibels or playing at lower levels, the amp produces a realistic sound that impresses with its breadth and detail, and is completely free of the harshness that ruins some other amps I've heard. Familiar records had textures - mostly classical and jazz, whether on vinyl or streamed from the internet - that I had never heard before. At 300 watts per channel, the Nova300 is incredibly powerful, yet the power never feels overdone and acts like an anchor, grounding the stunning musical experience. The device is also nice to look at. All in all a great amp.
