I have both this stylus and an Apple Pencil 2. I'll give a quick recommendation and tell you what I use. I bought this stylus (it was actually the first stylus I've ever used) and used it on my iPad Pro 12.9 for the first time. For the money I think it beats the Apple Pencil 2. It makes a small, very dull noise when shaken very hard, but sounds like a mechanical pencil, so nothing serious. The main differences are that the Apple Pencil 2 writes slightly better. ------------ My Rating of 10 ------------ Apple Pencil 2 Overall: 9 Writing Experience: 10 Cost - $120- 8 Overall Impression: 10 Features: 10 ( auto quick connect with bluetooth, first time sit down wireless magnetic stripe to pair, works with magnetic stripe on ipad on the side, also there is no indicator light on the apple pencil to show it is on, it just works and shows the battery life on the iPad to status sidebar, wireless charging so it's always charged and ready to go when you need it, double-tap to quickly switch to write/eraser or other selection.) This Pen: 8Writing Experience: 8.5Feeling: 9Cost - $120-10 Features: 7 (first time use, turn on quick connect, double tap to turn on and show blue light indicator, nowhere shows battery power, works with magnetic stripe on iPad, works with included U SB-C cable charged but charges very quickly ro with the charging indicator it turns off f and off it seems when the battery is low but it doesn't matter. Also does not charge wirelessly with magnetic strips only with USB cable c. At least at the time of this review, unless a new version is released) The final personal recommendation is this stylus. If you are very battery conscious and have the cash, go for the Apple Pencil 2. Either way, this stylus is a strong recommendation that I would recommend as a first or backup option for an Apple Pencil 2 or 1. It feels very good Quality and experience are good for the price. If you're reading this, you're probably wondering if you should get this. Trust me I will get it. I use my apple pencil 2 and gave it to my girlfriend and she uses it and this is her first pen and she loves it and has no regrets. * Update: Fixed some of my typos.
