I bought a Douglas D20 to mount on an old caravan. We were looking for something 12V to save some power without using an inverter when driving in a province and the D20 was just the right size. Firstly, I wasn't expecting the wires to be included, so that was a huge bonus. Includes 10m (30ft) of 6 gauge wire and built in fuse. The battery crimp terminals are pre-installed. As I installed my trailer and tried to cool it, I noticed the air wasn't getting cold and I could hear the compressor turning on and off. I contacted Douglas and it was great working with them. They sent me some new parts overnight so I could try to fix it myself and when that didn't work they sent me a brand new unit (and I sent the broken one back). The new one works! I think it's very good that R134a is used. So if I need to fill up on the go, I can get refrigerant almost anywhere. The fans are *strong* in it. It moves a ton of air, more than I expected. But it has a few settings so you can tweak it as needed. I was able to run it with both my LiFePO battery and my 55A converter charger. I didn't measure the current drawn, but the fuses weren't blown, so the 48A max draw should be accurate. Installation was easy. I modified an existing 14" standard opening as instructed. I have a thicker roof than the threaded rods that came with could handle, but I bought some that were a bit longer to accommodate them. Overall I'm happy with it!
