These were a great replacement for my 2.1THX system's Klipsch satellite speakers for my computer. I used this satellite speaker as a center channel for about 3 years. It worked fine while it was there, but then this came along. Now this is the center channel. Every day it gets better and better. It's so clean and clear. You can hear everything that is said and no longer have to ask the person you are speaking to what he/she said. It brought me together and I thought I would have to do whatever it takes to make it happen. No, I'm fine with Bose 4001 Direct Reflection and this one. This is a union made in heaven. Bose has enough bass to make up for the lack of a sub. There is enough in this dynamic to fill what I have been missing.
