bought this to be able to extend my "Mikey Digital 2.0" mic (which due to poor design doesn't have its own connector for headphone and also blocks the phone's headphone jack). This cable also has a small handle on the Lightning connector, making it almost perfect as a small handle for carrying the microphone (without making much noise during operation, as if the microphone were plugged directly into the phone's Lightning connector). going to be doing a lot of field recordings with this thing.
